v1.2 Approved on May 17th, 2026 by unanimous consent by FREE Tulsa General Assembly.
1. Respect and Inclusion: We show up for each other with care and dignity. We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or exclusion in our spaces — online or in person.
2. Center Impacted Communities: FREE has a broad membership and includes members from every corner of society. While each member is valued equally, we strive to listen to and follow the leadership of those most affected. We don’t speak over others when they can speak for themselves.
3. Integrity: We are honest, transparent, and responsible in how we organize, communicate, and use resources.
4. Accountability: We take responsibility for harm we cause, stay open to feedback, and commit to repair.
5. Safer Spaces: We work to reduce harm and support each other’s physical, mental, and emotional safety. We do not threaten, harass, intimidate, use violence, or otherwise interfere with anyone’s ability to feel secure in their physical, mental, and emotional safety while participating in FREE activities.
6. Solidarity: We collaborate in good faith, build trust, and support aligned movements and partners.
7. Shared Power: We challenge hierarchy and make decisions in ways that are participatory, inclusive, and community-led.
8. Consent and Confidentiality: We ask before sharing others’ stories, images, or identifying information. We protect private and sensitive information.
9. Responsible Communication: We speak truthfully, avoid spreading misinformation, and represent our communities with care and accuracy.
10. Growth: We stay open, reflective, and willing to grow in our understanding and practice of justice.
